Michael Giacchino
“Labor Of Love”
Star Trek (2009)

From the scene where George Kirk sets the U.S.S. Kelvin for a collision course with Nero’s ship, and in the span of a minute or so picks a name out for his son - Jim - and tells his wife Winona that he loves her.  Truly one of the most heartbreaking scenes from the entire Trek oeuvre.

Love love love this track.
